 This venetian moretta mask would traditionally been made of velvet and would have been worn by ladies when visiting the convents. They were held in place by the wearer clenching the button in her teeth that was sewn to the back of the mouth. This mask is made of fine leather and ties with a ribbon, the mask is quite small, as it would have been traditionally , and is excellent for those seeking an unusual mask
